Hands down, best clinic I’ve been to. They’re incredibly helpful through each stage of your pet’s life. All exams are thorough and each vet is awesome at explaining what they’re examining and why. My current dog does not like her nails clipped but they make it the best experience for her that she has never hated going to the vet. We’ve seen nearly every vet there and you can’t go wrong.
Dr. Rugen is a Veterinarian with dedication to his patients. He has knowledge and it shows. I love how he put my pet first over getting to the bottom line; the money. My thanks to Dr and his staff for taking care of my best fur friend.
All the staff was amazing. Dr. Angela was great to work with on the dog's issues. Team was thorough on what options were available. Place was very clean.
We had recently moved to the area and tried this vet. The staff was short with me when I asked questions regarding our dogs, and badmouthed the vet I had previously used in Kansas, because they "were being difficult", all the while I had been texting the very vet office they were complaining about, and it was the complete opposite scenario. I then had an issue with our older male, and took him in on a Saturday, the vet complained that they were very busy, and bluntly told me I would need to amputate our dog's tail, versus prescribing another solution. I ended up talking to my friends that are veterinarians and they advised me not to listen to this vet, I took the actions they prescribed, and our dog's tail is completely healed. This staff was consistently short with me, treated me as if I did not care about my animals, like I was a bad dog parent, and acted like we were just another number, not worth their time. Not to mention the parking is terrible, I nearly had to park down the road, and both times I went there I was seen at least 15 minutes (40 minutes the second time) after the appointment time. I would not recommend taking your dogs here. We just had a litter of puppies and I will be advising all the new owners to go elsewhere if they want to be treated with care and respect.
When we moved to Sioux Falls we tried a few different clinics and couldn't quite find the right fit until we found Dr. Stevens. She is one of the most thorough, knowledgable, and caring vets I've worked with. She answers all questions completely and stays on top of current research. I have two Australian Shepherds and she carefully and thoughtfully handles medications due to the risk of an MDR1 reaction. I trust her with my dogs 100%! All of the other staff have been helpful and friendly when we have appointments and are available when issues pop up. They are an all around fantastic clinic.
