This hotel overall was pretty good. AMAZING bed in my opinion and I was glad to have booked the room with the jacuzzi tub in it. Very clean and quiet hotel. They also did fantastic at doing a hot breakfast but still considering covid. The water park isn’t super special but the hot tub in the pool area is pretty good. I also appreciated how quiet the ac/heat unit was.
The room is clean, the beds are nice. The air conditioner is a little touchy. The evening staff were quite kind. Now let's get to the real point, the hotel has a water park or at least that's how they advertise it. Let's be more honest, it's an advanced kiddie pool with aging features. The splash bucket does not work at all. The water slide is only open for about 15 minutes every hour even though they state that it's supposed to be open for 30 minutes. When we brought some concerns to the front desk they didn't seem to care. I'm not opposed to the idea of a water park, I am opposed to complete apathy by staff and the 60 to $70 increase per night for a lackluster stay.
This place was great for just needing it for one night. My nieces and nephew loved the water slide. I saw other people leave reviews about how they wouldn’t open the slide, but we had no issues. Only complaint is as the AC unit was awful. We all slept miserable because of how hot our rooms were.
Nice room. Bed a little hard. Breakfast was not good at all. I wish it had been better. Staff very nice.
Very disappointing experience. We chose to stay here specifically for the water park. It's not a water park. The children's play area is fun, but several pieces don't work. The splash bucket doesn't fill/work either. There is a small children's slide, and they have one big slide which is fun. They posted a note saying the big slide will be open only half the time; "Slide is open first 30 minutes of the hour." However, the staff member didn't even show up until 10 mins late, so the slide was only open for 20 mins for the whole hour. When it was mentioned to the front desk, they didn't seem too interested in the problem. The beds were decent. The room was pretty clean. The shower squeaked. There was lotion provided.
